Join us for this dynamic intensive with Master Teacher Kari Margolis and company members.
We’ll work hard, dive deep into core actor skill sets, and come out on the other end stronger performers and creators.

Self-Expression vs Art, Theatre, and the Craft of Acting
Kari Margolis discusses how Margolis Method helps the actor/creator draw from personal impulses and transform them into artistic performance and character choices.
Margolis Method's comprehensive approach to theatre training offers a new way to practice—one that is not only repeatable and systematic, but invigorating, inspiring, empowering, and fun.
SCHEDULE
Artists train Monday through Friday with morning and evening sessions. Afternoons are open for exploring Minneapolis’ rich cultural life, as well as its natural beauty.
Morning Sessions: 10am - 12:30pm
Evening Sessions: 6:30pm - 9pm*
*Thursday evening is open to explore suggested live performances at local theatres.
MINNEAPOLIS
Along with the natural beauty of Minneapolis’ lakes, parks and walking paths the uptown neighborhood is close to a plethora of ethnic restaurants, the Guthrie Theatre, Walker Arts Center and Sculpture Garden, Minneapolis Institute of Arts, and the Weisman Arts and Mill City Museums.
ARTIST HOUSING
Fully furnished artist housing with private rooms, wifi, laundry, and a full kitchen is available on a first-come basis. Housing is within walking distance to the studio, and close to lakes, restaurants, and city bicycles.
Our artist housing is full, but if you are interested we can help find other accommodations.
TUITION
Tuition without housing:
Morning AND Evening Sessions: $500*
Morning OR Evening Sessions: $290*
Non-refundable deposit of $150 is required to confirm registration without housing.
Balance Due no later than June 19.
*There will be no Thursday evening class in order to leave time for theatre-going and/or group Q and A.
